Song workshop with Robyn Stapleton and Jo Miller

Galloway has a rich song tradition, ranging from work by 19th century local poets to ‘craft’ songs of shepherds, humorous items and dance songs. Come and explore some of this repertoire in a day workshop with Robyn Stapleton and Jo Miller. Vocal arrangements will be provided, but we’ll also explore unison singing and rhythmic accompaniment. Music reading is not essential. Tea and coffee provided, bring lunch to share.’
